The Multi-Activity Centre at Koparkhairane is SMS’s flagship campus, constructed on a plot in Sector 18 close to Gulabsons Dairy. It brings under one roof everything SMS does, so that a woman who comes for one thing can be reached for everything else.
The centre houses a Family Counseling Center, an Aamche Ghar day-care centre, the Parisar Vikas training and biogas demonstration facility, a community library, and our Garbage Gallery — an educational exhibit on solid waste management. We host trainings, workshops, awareness camps and self-help group meetings from this address through the year.
Construction started in 2011. The Multi-Activity Centre is open six days a week from 10 am to 6 pm, and is the address most likely to be on a flyer if you see SMS hosting an event in Navi Mumbai.
